Dimitsana is found in the heart of Peloponnese, in Arkadia, one of the most beautiful mountainous landscapes of our country. This region constitutes a live historical, cultural and religious museum since it exists there from 2.500 p.H. (as it is proved by the Mykenean wall ruins that exist in the settlement and from the discoveries that can been seen in the museum) It has also been connected with the more important moments of 1821 revolution since this is the region that began the revolts against the Turks. Of course Dimitsana is well known supporting the 1821 Revolution with gunpowder made in the Gunpowder Myles and paper from her very important library.The well known in the hole Europe "Museum of water moving

machinery" that includes the gunpowder Myles, is a pole of attraction for many visitors. Dimitsana is still "circled" by three most important Monasteries that are found in the known gorge of Loussios river. There are also numerous nice amd historic churches in and out the settlement. Finally the region is full of ancient stories still said today. In this historic centre called "Platsa" where the buildings, the sayings, and the atmosphere are taking us 200 years back, we restored, renovated and respected one of it's buildings, today called "Proselinos guest house" and made to please all of you our dear visitors and friends.
